Portable buildings are insulated poly panel cabins, offices, sleepouts and transportable granny flats built to order in the Waikato.

Built for comfort, durability and relocation
Poly panel construction is what Beaver-Built was founded on. Steel skins bonded to an insulated core create walls and roof that stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer, while the interlocking panels form the structure without traditional timber framing.
The building sits on a galvanised steel base frame, making it strong enough to be transported when required.
Panels arrive factory finished inside and out in your chosen colour, and if one is ever damaged it can be replaced individually rather than rebuilding the entire frame. It's the same approach behind our caravan and trailer repairs.
Galvanised frame, quality fit-out and certified trades
Each portable building includes flooring, a panel entrance door, guttering and pre-wiring for power and lighting as standard.
From there, the fit-out is tailored to your requirements. Flooring can be customised from vinyl, to floorboards and carpet. Windows, ranch sliders, carpet, kitchens, toilets, showers, hand basins and plumbing are sourced and installed as part of the build.
Electrical and gas work is completed and certified by qualified tradespeople, while pre-galvanised steel helps protect the building against rust over the long term.
Portable buildings are constructed differently. Insulated poly panel walls and roof sit on a galvanised steel base frame, all built to your own floor plan rather than around a standard caravan body. They are transported by truck rather than registered for road use.
Yes. Where regular towing is required, Beaver-Built can instead build a custom enclosed trailer supplied with registration and a Warrant of Fitness. We'll help determine which option best suits how often the unit needs to move.
Every building includes vinyl flooring, a panel entrance door, guttering and pre-wiring for power and lighting. Windows, kitchens, bathrooms, internal walls and other fit-out items are added according to your floor plan. We can customise almost every aspect of your portable building.
Yes. Buildings can be transported throughout New Zealand. Delivery is usually arranged by the customer, although we're happy to recommend experienced transport providers and discuss site access requirements before handover.
That depends on the size, intended use and where the building will be located. Consent remains the owner's responsibility, so it's worth confirming local requirements before ordering. Electrical and gas certification is supplied on completion.
